This year Rama Navami is being celebrated on Friday the 19th of April. On this occasion, we are happy to present the Katha that is to be read as part of the Rama Navami Puja which is already available at our site – Here

The putrakama yaga was almost drawing to a close. Everyone was watching, all of a sudden, the fire seemed to burn with unearthly glow. Out of the fire rose a divine form. Rama Navami Puja – Update

Please note that the Rama Navami Puja files have been updated. The major changes done include

1) New Language files – The Puja files are now available in English, in addition to Sanskrit, Tamil, Malayalam, Telugu and Kannada
2) Inclusion of Arati as part of the file
3) Inclusion of Katha (Story) as part of the file
3) Error Corrections
4) Improved formatting

Please check the Puja page at and update your puja files accordingly.

Shri Rama Navami Puja

Shri Rama Navami celebrates the birth of Lord Rama to King Dasharatha and Queen Kausalya of Ayodhya. Rama Navami falls on Chaitra Masa Suklapaksha Navami, the ninth day of the month of Chaitra in the Hindu calendar. In 2013, it falls on April 19th.
